Today, opponents of the proposed CMP corridor submitted signatures to the Maine Department of the Secretary of State to put the CMP "Clean Energy Connect" issue on our ballots this November. The proposed corridor is a power line that would cut through 53 NEW miles of Maine wilderness to Massachusetts. Experts believe there are serious implications to our environment and tourism businesses.
